Many people know this image but don’t know the whole story behind it. This one is from 5 years ago when I first got my Canon 1D Mark 3 camera. If anyone has made the hike up to delicate arch you can imagine what it was like in the ice and snow of Feb.! Dave DesRochers and I not only did it once, we did it twice……so on the stupidity scale of 1-10…..this was a 20. We did get lost on the way down one time….thank God for cairns and that monster flashlight I carried up. This is the 2nd time up and was lit only with my headlamp. When this popped up on my LCD screen….I never took another film shot again (I did carry it up with me).
