Holcombe – Jimison Farmstead HDR Workshop Announcement!

I am thrilled to announce my newest HDR workshop location on June 30th at the Holcombe-Jimison Farmstead in Lambertville, NJ.  This workshop is being co-led by Susan Candelario .  The cost is $100 and is being held from 9am until noon. This Museum is dedicated to the preservation of Hunterdon County’s agricultural heritage from the 18th into the 20th centuries.  We will have private access to all the structures which include a dentist/doctors office, pictured above, as well as a barber shop, (shown in the image below), a print shop, general store, wood shop, and many more!

Our group will be allowed to use our tripods indoors to capture all the historic artifacts as either a HDR series or as a single exposure.  The group size is limited to 12 participants to allow for ease of movement between the structures and allow everyone ample time to photograph all the different locations.

Every participant will get plenty of opportunities for detail work of tools as well as other farm machinery and the numerous items in the general store, as shown in the image above, so a wide-angle lens as well as an intermediate telephoto lens is recommended. Being a local NJ location, I expect that this one will fill up fast!  Best way to reserve your spot is to use the Pay Now button on my schedule page, enter the amount ($100), and then enter the credit card information.  Don’t forget to write in Holcombe Jimison Farmstead in the notes area, or drop me an e-mail to let me know that you have made your payment.

I just concluded my latest Gillette Castle workshop in East Haddam, Ct.   I can now announce my newest date, which is August 26th, and is limited to 8 participants. Susan Candelario will also be co-leading this one once again!   I came home after midnight so the image above is from our last workshop there as I haven’t had time to process yesterday’s images yet!  You can see some of the previous workshop images on my earlier blog post to see examples of what type of images you can capture at the castle.

Have to start working on some of my Arches/Canyonlands images now!!!
