The black sand beaches near Jokulsarlon Iceland are simply amazing! The twice daily ebb and flow of the tides that deposits all sizes and shapes of ice along the beach and it can stretch on for quite a distance. Composing and isolating is often a challenge but overcast conditions really bring out the blue in the ice. Some of the smaller chunks glitter like diamonds in the evening light. The landscapes are always in flux and will change every few minutes with the constant pounding of the north atlantic. Very high on my list of landscape locations.
