Special Opportunity – Workshop with Roman K. on Sunday, September 18th

We are pleased to announce that Roman has offered to conduct 2 hands-on macro/close up photography workshops on Sunday, September 18th.  Roman is an accomplished nature photographer in the areas of landscape, wildlife, bird, macro and night sky photography.

Workshop Location: The Carriage House at Shaw Nature Reserve, photographing in the Whitmire Wildflower Garden.

Times:  9:00 to 11:00 a.m. – or – 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

(Note:  Both workshops are the same, so you need to attend only one)

Cost:  $35.00

How to register:

At the June 21st meeting, MoNEP members will have the opportunity to register for one of the workshops before registration is open to nonmembers.  Checks made out to MoNEP or exact cash ($35) will be accepted.  Seminar registration will also be taken at the meeting ($50 for members).

Since there is limited availability for the workshops, registrations will be taken on a first come basis.  Therefore, after the June 21st meeting, registration can only be made by PayPal through MoNEP’s website:  monep.org.  You do not have to set up a PayPal account to make payment through PayPal – debit and credit cards can be used.


Participants may be of any skill level from novice to advanced

Anyone interested in attending one of the Sunday workshops must have attended the Saturday seminar.

Each workshop is limited to 15 participants.

Registered Participants should:

Bring your camera body, lenses (macro and/or other lenses that can be used for close up photography) remote shutter release, flash units, tripod, and adequate batteries and memory cards.  Sigma will have an assortment of their lenses available for attendees to try on their cameras.

Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring bug spray.

Remember, both workshops are the same, so only register for one.  And, attendance at the Saturday seminar is required to attend one of the Sunday workshops.
