I am interested in the waterdrop workshop. I know your info says that it is not necessary to bring equipment, but before I sign up for this workshop I need to know if I’ll have the ability to utilize the techniques taught once I return home without having to purchase a lot of expensive equipment. Can you enlighten me please. I own a Canon 7D with several lenses — none of them macro.

What lenses should I have to accompany you to the Oct, 2013 Yellowstone/Teton expedition? If they are not in my bag now, I may first need to plan for that expenditure first.

    • roamin with roman | 6th Nov 12

      Hey Bruce,
You will need wide angle lenses for landscapes and say something in the 22mm range (or equivalent for crop factor bodies) for the night shooting. Can be a zoom…..mine is. I also recommend a lens of around 400mm for the wildlife. I will be reviewing the Sigma 120-300mm lens and with the 1.4 tele it is a great lens for Yellowstone and the Tetons. Sorry about the late reply…..but my power is out!

Hi: I’m interested in the Radio City Workshop in January 2013. Where is there a registration for this workshop on your site. I couldn’t find it. Thanks. Lorraine

    • Bob | 22nd Dec 12

My wife and I are also interested in the Radio City Workshop. Several questions. 1. Is there still space available for two. 2. We live in VA and we stay in Secaucus when we visit NY. Your co-leader,Susan also lives there. What is the best way to get to Radio City Sunday morning? Is there parking on the street?
      thanks

      • roamin with roman | 22nd Dec 12

        Hey Bob,
There is still room right now. Susan, Anthony, and I take the Lincoln tunnel in as on Sundays…..no parking restrictions near Radio City and almost no traffic either! I’ve parked about 2 blocks away from Radio City all the other times for free!

  17. Bob | 22nd Dec 12

Thanks for the quick response. The only hesitation I have at this point is the weather for driving up from VA. I’ll wait for a forecast the week before before I make a committment. Looks like fun and certainly better then going to FL.

  23. Henry Cohen | 3rd Nov 13

Hi Roman. I saw you at Unique today & loved the presentation. I learned some new techniques for which I thank you. I see here some mention of Radio City Workshops but I do not see any mention of it in the schedule. Will you be running again and do you have any idea of dates. It sounds really interesting. Also what is covered in the workshop. Thanks.

    • admin | 3rd Nov 13

      Hi Henry,
I won’t have any Radio City Dates in 2014 as the schedule doesn’t allow it right now. good friend and fellow Photographer Susan Candelario may. I have a link to her site through my friends button on my site so if you don’t see it listed, drop her an e-mail to find out if she will be running one. It is a great Art Deco place which you would love on the private tour.
Hope this helps and glad you enjoyed the presentation!
